Privacy Notice & Terms of Service

Privacy Notice

The short version

This website is a collection of static files that run entirely in your browser. It processes no personal data itself. There is no backend server or database and no accounts. The site uses no cookies, no storage of any kind (local or session storage, browser databases, Cache Storage, service workers) and no analytics or tracking.

The privacy banner appears on every visit because the site keeps no record that you have already seen it.

What happens when you press “Compile”

When you press Compile, your browser opens a direct connection to OpenRouter (openrouter.ai) and sends:

This request goes directly from your browser to OpenRouter. The site has no server that could see, relay, log or store any of it. Your API key stays in the page's memory, reaches openrouter.ai only as the request's authorization header, and disappears when you close or reload the tab or press “Clear key”.

Requests ask OpenRouter to route only to Zero-Data-Retention endpoints (provider.zdr = true) and deny data collection (data_collection: "deny"). Your use of OpenRouter is governed by your own account, OpenRouter's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and the policies of the underlying model provider that serves your request. You pay for the usage under your own account.

Hosting provider

The site is served by GitHub Pages. As with any web host, GitHub may process standard technical access logs (such as IP address, user agent and timestamp) to deliver the files. See the GitHub General Privacy Statement.

Legal basis and your rights (GDPR / ePrivacy)

The site itself collects nothing, so there is no processing on our side that would call for consent or a legitimate-interest assessment, and the site uses no cookies or storage that would trigger ePrivacy consent rules. Processing by GitHub (hosting) or OpenRouter (when you choose to compile) is governed by their respective privacy policies, where you can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection.

AI transparency (EU AI Act)

Code produced by the playground is generated by a third-party AI model. It may contain errors, insecure patterns or invented APIs. Review and test generated code before using it, and keep secrets and personal data out of your programs.

Terms of Service

The service

Cƒ is a free, open project released under CC0 (public domain dedication). The website provides a static playground that forwards your input, at your explicit request, to OpenRouter.

No warranty

The site and any generated output are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. You are responsible for reviewing, testing and validating AI-generated code before using it.

Your OpenRouter account

You compile using your own OpenRouter API key and account. You are responsible for your OpenRouter usage and its cost, for complying with OpenRouter's terms, and for keeping your key confidential. Rotate your key if you believe it has been exposed.

Acceptable use

Use the playground lawfully. Keep personal data of others, secrets, and content you have no right to process out of your programs. Keep generated code away from unlawful purposes.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the project and its authors accept no liability for damages arising from use of the site or of generated code.

Changes

These notices may be updated in the repository; the version served on the site is the current one. Significant changes are tracked in the Git history.
